Health and Social Care

The HSC qualifications offer a flexible way to study through being provided with monthly workshops and self-directed study;

 

• Core (from month 0 to month 6): to be delivered mainly through workshops from a variety of locations with a tutor. You will need to book onto their nearest course and attend a total of 5 workshops (3 hours per session) to aid and support learning and development (Induction, Principles and Values, Health and Wellbeing, Professional Practice, Safeguarding and Health and Safety).

• You will need to sit 5 Multi-Choice Quizzes and complete a reflection based on the workshop you have attended. Once all Multi- Choice Quizzes and all reflections have been completed, the final Multi Choice Test will need to be passed for the completion of the Core. This is City and Guilds online Course that has to be invigilated with your assessor or at Ocean Park House. Resits can be taken, however further knowledge sessions may be required if necessary.
